OUR ANNUAL IMPACT
We reflect on two challenging years of facing hairpin twists and turns without a roadmap of experience as our guide, and today see it as something quite miraculous!
Interlinking, positive connections were made and people came forward in spades—our incredible staff, volunteers working remotely, a caring Board, and generous donors who offered us their tenacity, patience, and compassion—and for all of that, we are grateful every day!
At the start of the pandemic, our beloved founder, Barbara Tellefson, assuaged our anxieties by quoting children’s television icon, Mr. Rogers: “often when you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.” And so it seems no truer words have been spoken!
