Your Generosity Fueled Our Back-to-School Success!
Many low-income children and teenagers received new school supplies, shoes, and clothing before returning to school this year.
- All children received brand-new backpacks and supplies
- A huge thank you to Arturo’s Barbershop & SB Barber for their generous $2,000 donation!
- 200 haircuts provided by Arturo’s Barbershop
- Stacks of new shoes were provided by Deckers and Vans
Your Donations Turned Our Free Store into a Lifeline for the Community
At Unity’s “Free Store” clients shop in a store-like setting for food, clothing, household necessities, and personal care items – free of charge. Numbers are increasing daily due to inflation, the economy and rent increases, and we expect these numbers to double over the holiday season. Donations help to keep the shelves stocked so families can shop with Dignity, Respect and Choice.
Some of the essential items we have been able to add to our store:
- Dairy products and eggs for essential proteins
- Providing chicken and ground turkey for well balanced meals
- Fresh produce daily

38th Unity Shoppe Annual Telethon
VIP Sponsorships Now Available!
Unity Shoppe will be celebrating Uniting the Community, Changing Lives during the 2024 Telethon and Holiday Celebration. The event will air live on KEYT on December 13th from 5 pm to 8 pm with recurring broadcasts throughout the remainder of the year.
Money raised from the Telethon will be used to run the Client Service Center, and all of our programs for Santa Barbara County residents.
Become a Sponsor of the Telethon to receive:
- VIP recognition throughout the event
- On-camera interview (live or pre-filmed)
- Video vignette to be broadcast before, during, and after Telethon
- Publicity through television, radio, print media, and streaming video
